"I bought the SUMMERTIME pattern at my local quilt store (The Material Girl Fabric Outlet in Dover, Ohio). Do I like it? Well, I now have 6 of them and will probably make a couple more before summertime is over. Really simple pattern and so cool and breezy for hot weather. I just ordered the shrug pattern so I can make some matching shoulder coverings so I can keep wearing them this fall. Unless you want to make a version with sleeves. ;) I do not do well making regular blouses. Me and buttonholes just can't seem to come to a peaceful agreement. Thanks for making my summer much cooler. "

"I ordered the little hoodie jacket and made it out of fleece for my grandson. It went together perfectly and came out adorable. I plan on making several more for the grandaughters. I will probably order the adult one to make soon. "

" I recently made your WALLET PURSE pattern and I wanted to send kudos to your company. I have sewn for a lifetime and I also wrote and tested patterns in a former career and I have to say your pattern was superb. It was a complicated design but the instructions and diagrams made it a snap to create! I quilted my outer wallet to add a little texture and I'm very happy with my results. Thanks for producing such a great pattern. Jenny "

"Just to let you know, I finally stitched up one of your patterns. Sorry to say I am one of those who purchase because a pattern is cute etc... but no time to sew. I stitched up the "SMARTY PANTS" How cute!!! I am a plus sized girl and as such hate sewing for myself because of fit issues. These fit great! They go together very smartly. I can't wait to make more. My only suggestion is that as a plus size I will use a wider heavier elastic, 3/4 inch. Other than that WOW. How nice it is to sew and it come out so well. By the way I just laid a pattern of mine that fit, on top of yours to judge the size to fit me. Thanks again! Can't wait to sew more of the beautiful patterns I purchased a while back. Happy Creating, Georgie C. in Arizona USA "

"I had great luck with your EVERYDAY BAG, whoever designed it did a great job ... I read three reviews of it and everyone who made it loved it .. it's an ideal size for someone who is used to carrying a large bag like I am .. mine turned out wonderfully and I'm a beginner bagmaker ... I've had a ton of compliments on it .. I took it to Calgary this weekend and it was terrific as a carry on .. I used a home dec fabric and cotton lining with fusible fleece on both .. I topstitched the outside all the way around as I found it too rounded having used the fleece but it worked very well .. I only put in one pocket. "

"I just had to take a moment to tell you how much I love your patterns! I am a children's knitwear designer by trade but am also addicted to sewing. I have 4 children that I primarily sew for and your patterns are my favorite. The patterns are clear, easy to follow, and always turn out as nice as the picture. They also fit! I was very excited to see the new low-rise pajama pants in the SLEEP WELL pattern as the older pajama pattern has been a favorite around here for quite some time. I prefer low-rise pants myself so I am looking forward to making some for me as well. I also do a good bit of heirloom sewing and smocking and am in love with the NIGHTIE NIGHT pattern. It is reminiscent of a delicate heirloom nighty. I plan to make several for my girls and myself. "

"You know, when I think of "patterns" my mind goes to old fashioned and motherly. But Favorite Things patterns are fun and trendy and SO easy to follow with great results everytime! Favorite Things represents this present generation of being fashionable and environmentally responsible at the same time and I love that. I have made and given away many ECO MARKET TOTES. I have many bags patterns that I purchased at Urban Arts & Crafts in Kansas City - THE LUNCH BAG is so darned cute! I seriously love it and so does my 8 year old granddaughter - no environmentally irresponsible plastic lunch box for her!! I decided to check out your website and WOW fell in love with several more! "

"Just wanted to comment on your BONNIE BAG pattern. I love this bag and so do my friends. I have made at least 20 of these over the past 7 or 8 years for gifts for friends/relatives. Everyone loves it. As soon as one person sees it, I am making it for someone else! They have been used for diaper bags, too! When I look a fabric I always picture it made up in a Bonnie Bag! Thank you for such a great bag pattern. "

"I ordered PRAIRIE GIRL last year and just made it. I'm a beginning sewer so I was so pleased that it came out so well in terms of fit and look. I'm finding that patterns can sometimes be frustrating but this went really well so thank you! "

Kate Stockbridge, MA.

"I just wanted to tell you I love your LITTLE HIP SKIRTS pattern. I thought the instructions were super easy! I am an advanced beginner and this is the BEST pattern I have ever used. The skirts are so cute and I can't wait for my two daughters to wear them this spring. Thank you so much for creating a pattern that AVERAGE people can use. "

"I just sewed up little BALLET SLIPPERS for my two little ballet dancers. They are thrilled with them. They especially love the long ribbon ties that go up their legs! The elastic keeps them on their feet great! Thanks for designing such a quick and easy pattern. Maybe tomorrow I will sew up a Mary Jane style for myself! I have enjoyed all my jackets from your patterns this winter! I am now ready to make a linen MANDARIN JACKET for spring and summer. The girls LOVE their PRAIRIE DRESSES and shirts! They are also eager for a trip to the store to purchase fabric for the LITTLE HIP SKIRTS for spring! They both want a twirly, circle skirt! As always, you design wonderful, useful patterns. Keep up the great work. I always look forward to the next seasons designs. "

"It's not often that sophisticated style meets easy construction, but it does here. The 8 panels combined with the elasticized back waistband make for an individualized, flattering fit, and the flounce and gore options mean you can achieve a multitude of looks with the same pattern. I had been keen to review this pattern because I had already heard good things about it from other sewers, and I was not disappointed. As with all simple things, the secret of its success lies in the detail. I thoroughly enjoyed making it and I am already planning in my mind how I am going to make a little mini-wardrobe of these skirts: the possible variations on the one basic pattern are huge."

"I just sewed up a button HIP SKIRT tonight, for me. It went together in less than an hour. I love this new pattern. Thanks so much for designing the pattern for girl's sizes also. My girls can't wait for a "twirl skirt"."

"First of all, I want to thank you for designing clothing patterns that are up to date, stylish and that FIT! My daughters and I LOVE the PRAIRIE GIRL shirt and dress! We each got a few versions for this summer. your jackets are comfortable to wear also."

Ann A | Bayard, NE.

"I love your patterns because they are contemporary but not intimidating. I believe more people would be sewing if they knoew this type of product was available."

Beth M. | Newton, PA

"I just finished the first of many of your purse patterns (I think I have a least 5) and am really pleased with the way it turned out. I love the many styles that you do. My project right now is A SAFE PLACE - my first attempt at a wallet. Your instructions are so well written though, that I know I won't have any problem completing it. Thank you for such fun patterns. I'm planning on making some as gifts for my sisters and I know they're going to love them as much as I do."

Claire | Burnaby

"I just finished making THE LITTLE VINTAGE JUMPER and hat for my 8 month old granddaughter and it is absolutely adorable. your pattern was so easy to follow and made up beautifully. I didn’t have any trouble at all with the pieces fitting where I have found sometimes with the “Big 4” that I end up recutting pieces. Now I am anxious to get at the Frayed Jacket for myself. I have the fat quarters quilted and ready to cut out!"

Laura M. | Abbotsford, B.C.

"This is the first time I've used your patterns and I love them. They are easy to work with and as a former Home Economics teacher (retired) I have worked and taught with many different types of patterns. Right now I'm making THE STRAPPIE JUMPER and am finding out that your body measurements and pattern sizes run true. Thank you for professional and easy patterns to work with."

Iona | Sunriver, OR.

"I've been sewing since the age of 11 and have made a variety of clothing over the years from simple shorts to formal gowns. With this experience I could easily tell a lot of time and effort had gone into the development of this pattern (THE EVERYWAY PANTS). Specifically, it was designed with a realistic woman in mind, with all of our various curves and figure flaws, which the commercial patterns seem to forget. These are some of the easiest, most comfortable, best looking fitted pants that I have made in a very long time. I just wanted to drop a word of thanks for a great pattern."

Anjanette CA.

"Wow! Thanks so much for making the greatest patterns! I am such a fan of all of them! It's about time that someone sees the creative versatility in sewing. I am a Master Seamstress and own a sewing school for children and adults. I just wanted to tell you what beautiful garments I have produced using your patterns."

Joanne | MA.

"I just finished making the CUTE SKIRTS pattern and THE EVERYWAY PANTS - they fit great and were so easy to make. I have been using your patterns for many years, one of my favorite patterns is THE CARDIGAN JACKET. I have made it in linen, corduroy and cottons. It always looks great! I have been making clothes for over 30 years, including many years of dressmaking and alterations. Good patterns are so special. Even my wallet (A SAFE PLACE) is a Favorite Things pattern! "

Tracey | Bowen Island, B.C.

"I really appreciate that you carry large sizes in your pattern line. Most of the time, patterns for us large size women are awful. It is good to see classy patterns like yours."

Rebecca | Bridgewater, MA.

"I wanted to comment on how nice your patterns are. I made THE CARDIGAN JACKET and I was so pleased with the fit! A lot of wearable art/independent patterns are too oversized for me, or have no shape at all. Yours are well-drafted and fit me quite well. I am 5'4" and wear a size 20, so finding a flattering pattern is really a treat. I was also pleasantly surprised that the pattern was so true to size. Most patterns have way too much ease but your size 20 fits just as it should."

Marie | Madison, WI.

"I just purchased your pattern CUTE SKIRTS and was so pleased at how simple the pattern was. My 11 year old girl was making a skirt for 4-H using your pattern. "

Shelly | Washington, UT.

"I just want to let you know how impressed I am with your patterns. I have made several wallets - "A SAFE PLACE" and I think it has to be the most clever pattern I have come across in 30 years of sewing. The details to your patterns – things I would not have thought of - make them so original and professional looking. Looking forward to more designs!"

"Just a short note to compliment you on your CARPET BAG pattern. I have just finished this project and I was overwhelmed with how easy it is to follow your very descriptive and detailed instructions. I certainly would not hesitate to purchase another one of your patterns and I will certainly recommend you to friends who sew."
